Where are the Griners?????

It has been a while since my last post. I guess I have been a little slack with posts and pictures, but we have been very busy. I don't have any new pictures at the moment, but thought I would write a quick post.
Last weekend we went to Nashville to help them finish their new office room downstairs. We also celebrated Ryan's birthday a little early. It was so good to see everyone. When we got home, Addi got sick with a tummy virus and still has it today. I had it yesterday, and so far we have been the only two. I am not counting the other 4 out yet, but I really hope they don't get it!
Anyone who has been with sick kids, knows you don't get anything done, so I am trying to catch up. Hopefully, I will have some more interesting posts soon!

8 Things About Landon and Addi

I have been busy catching up on my blogs. This is my third one today, and then I should be caught up. Ryan tagged Landon and Addi so here I go! By the way, I have really enjoyed reading everyone elses!

Landon:

1) Landon loves chicken nuggets, ketchup and sour cream!

2) Landon thinks he is the boss of all his siblings, even John and Andi. It is sooo funny! He has quite a temper and when things don't go his way, he likes to throw them! Watch out!

3) Landon loves to play in the sandbox and just lays and rolls all in it! He is definatly all boy with lots and lots of energy!

4) Landon loves to sing in Bible class and church and is completely uninhibited about how loud he sings. It is especially funny on Jesus Loves Me because he really knows the words.

5) Landon loves to read books to Addi and quiz her on items in the book. He then follows up with "good job Addi", "I am proud of you!" Soooo cute!

6) He rarely ever falls asleep at naptime, but Mama still lays him down for one. We all need a little break :)

7) He loves to use words that mean nothing. He'll look at me and say, "Hey mama, Nina". What the heck is nina? Then he just laughs!

8) The number one Landon trait is that he is a TRUCK finatic!!! Right now his life revolves around where the trucks are and when we will see these trucks! So funny!!

Addi:

1) Addi is our junk food junkie! That child has never eaten a vegetable in her entire life! It is not because we haven't tried, but can we say stubborn! Her diet consists of anything bread, some fruit and cheese. When she gets a little older we will be able to reason with her a little more.

2) She is not really talking yet, so when she wants something or is mad at Landon she looks at you and screams. I start to go crazy some days with the screaming!

3) Addi is a little girl who loves her sleep. She has two blankets that she always sleeps with. They were actually originally Landons, she just took to them. They are just alike just different colors.

4) She and Landon both are thumbsuckers. Sometimes we look back at them in their carseats, and there they are side by side sucking their thumbs.

5) Addi loves to play with Landon and is a great climber. She purposely stacks things like boxes and stools in order to climb higher and higher. She is our accident prone child who before the age of two has had 5 busted lips! Mike says she should wear a helmet around the house.

6) Addi loves necklaces and jewlery. During church she will sit and take my rings on and off and put them on her for the entire first half of the service before children's church.

7) Addi is very mechanical. She loves to figure out how things work and is really good at it. She is very good at puzzles and loves to act like she is fixing things.

8) Lastly, Addi is a major mama's girl. I don't have to worry about her ever talking to strangers! I don't really mind it too much, because after all she is my last little one.

New Adventure....

My sisters and I are beginning a small venture into the world of baby boutiques. We have been making several different items and wanted to let our friends and family know about it in case they might be interested. We have been enjoying being able to be creative and play with colors, patterns and design.
Some of our products include bows, ribbon bow hangers, cutsom made party hats, baby bouquets, blankets, and fun kid coupons. All items can be made to a particular theme or color combination per request. All hair bows can be made with either alligator or spring clips.
So far, we have sold some product to local boutiques in our area, and are venturing into the Etsy realm too. If you want to check us out on Etsy, our store name is Three Pine Design.
It's fun to do and Addi makes the perfect little model to try new items :) We thought we would let you guys know about our adventure and if you happen to be in the market for anything you see here (or an idea about something you don't see) just let us know.

Here are some custom made party hat sets. These are perfect for any little girl or boy party, and make a great party favor too! Can be made with any theme in mind.

Some various bows.....

A "bling" hat for that sassy little one on their first birthday! You can check out a few more on Etsy. They can also be made to say Happy Birthday, or with initials, etc.

Some more bow desings...

Some ribbon bow hangers. I know Addi has quite a bow collection and these hold a lot.

Another bow....

We thought "Bows to Go" would make a cute little gift for any little girl.

More bow hanger options-

Baby bouquets can be made with pink or blue flowers for that expectant mother, and filled with almost any baby item. This one has three white onesies.

A crib sized baby blanket. It is a great weight material, prewashed and the perfect chic baby fabric design. These are definatly unique and one of a kind!

A larger "Bows to Go" option filled with bigger bows and coordinating box and bow material.

Thanks for looking and let us know what you think!

Tennessee Christian Teen Convention 2008

Mike, Addi and John enjoying the Exit 352 show! A lady stopped and asked if Landon and Addi were twins. Suprisingly, I get that alot!

Landon riding in a red convertible! There is a car musuem there that he really wanted to go into, but it was 12.00 for one ticket. Maybe when he gets a little older!

Landon knew exactly how to ride this motorcycle even though I think it is the first one he has ever sat on.

Addi had to get in on the action too!

John rocking out! It is really hard to see him in these pictures because it was dark and had crazy lighting! Looked really cool though!

Here John was on the big screen! How cool is that!

It has been a while since my last post. I feel so behind! This weekend, John and Andi went to TCTC in Gatlinburg, TN. If any of you are familiar with Winterfest, it is like Winterfest with instrumental music. They had a blast. John's band Exit 352 played last year and this year to crowds of about 2500 adoring fans! We went this year again to see him play and had a lot of fun! We are so proud of him and all his talents!
