Christmas Day At The Griners!

The Griner family Christmas was filled with early morning fun!! It all started around 6 am and Santa definatley made a stop with fun presents. Landon wanted a race track and he got a nice long one. Addi wanted a pink Cinderella dress and she wore it all day. John and Andi both asked for money, so Santa brought them each a money tree. It was a fun, fun day. Aunt Samantha, Uncle Dave and Kaori came over for a Christmas dinner later in the day. We had a really nice visit. It is always kind of bitter sweet when Christmas Day is over. I enjoy the anticipation, planning, and festivities of this time of year so much. Luckily, our Christmas goes on because tomorrow we leave for Timberline Ski resort in West Virginia. We will be there for one week and are really looking forward to some rest, relaxation and of course skiing!! Until then......

We had the church youth group over on Sunday night for a Christmas party. Here are a couple of pics of them sitting in a circle doing their gag gifts. It was quite entertaining.

Gatlinburg Christmas and Preschool Christmas Program!

Last weekend my whole family came into town and we had a very "Christmasy" weekend. Friday night we all painted pottery to give to G-Mama for Christmas and even got a picture of all the grandkids with G-Mama with Santa Claus!! Then Aunt Ryan and Mary Paul spent the night with us. On Saturday, after Andi auditioned for Junior Clinic Band of East TN (which she made by the way!), we all went to Gatlinburg for some Christmas time fun. It was a busy day, but filled with many memories!!! Some of them very funny!!

The next day John and Andi had their Christmas Band Concert which was wonderful as always. Then, the little kids had their Church Christmas Party. It was a busy day but filled with fun as G-Mama got to be there and even help out at the Christmas party.

This past week was very busy with me working some extra hours, John and Andi having their last week of school, and Landon and Addi having school parties and their Preschool Christmas Program. Their program was so wonderful and they both did so great!! I was afraid they might see us and then want to come down off the stage but they did not. They did wonderfully!!!

This weekend is busy with trying to catch up on home "stuff", I am working all day Saturday, and then we have the church youth group party at our house Sunday night. Mike and I both have to work some next week, but then I will be ready to slow down and enjoy being with family for the holiday!! Merry Christmas to all!!

Three cousins having some Chrismas fun before we left for Gatlinburg!!

Landon getting ready for his first school performance!! What a cutie!! He had fun clapping and doing all the movements. He also was concentrating really hard when they did the song with the bells. All the kids had different colored bells and the teacher would hold up which color to ring. It was really great!!

Back home after a busy day and ready to relax and eat some candy from their goody bags!!
