2 Years is Too Long.....
It's late on a Thursday night and I can't sleep. I decided to go onto Blogger, which I used to be very good about updating, and see if I could find our old blog. And, low and behold, its still here.....even though it is under an email address we no longer even use.
I have LOVED looking back through the chronicles of our life which I began in 2007 and then slowly tapered off with posts in 2011. It is so special to see this scrapbook of our life. Through teary eyes I have gotten to enjoy so many memories.
It has prompted me to try and keep it updated again, if for no other reason then my own personal pleasure and happiness of looking back over it in years to come. There is NO way I can catch up from the many, many things that have been happening over the past 2 years, so I will just have to summarize:
We moved to Murfreesboro, TN from Kingston, TN
2 kids now in college
2 kids now in elementary school
1 kid engaged to be married this coming December
Mike still works with Kroger
I am working more than I have since having babies....30 hours a week and am admittedly struggling to find balance
We are trying to find a church home in Kingwood Church of Christ
My extended family now consists of 9 grandchildren
That pretty much is the last 2 years in a nutshell.....
I hope to post some new pictures soon!

The last few weeks have been fun ones! We have been busy with everyday life things and also travelling to Atlanta for Kaori's 3rd birthday party and travelling to North Augusta for a visit. Although we have been busy, I always feel blessed, thankful and happy with each memory made with my family.
Below are some of our most recent snap shots. I couldn't resist sneaking a couple of pics of Addi and Landon sleeping. They look so sweet and so ready for Disney World (which we plan to visit for the first time later this year). Then, there are some pictures of Addi's actual "birth" day that we celebrated at home. She had an ice-cream sundae with 5 candles and she thought it was so funny! She is our precious sunshine girl! Next, I posted some pictures of our fun, fun time at Kaori's 3rd birthday party. It was a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse party and all the kids had a blast! Aunt Samantha did a fabulous job organizing and planning all sorts of fun games and prizes for the kids. Great memories!
Lastly, I posted a few pics of our family Valentine Celebration....we are still eating all the candy we got this past Valentine's Day....WOW!
Now we are into the month of March and if things continue as they are.....it could be a very interesting month!

Addi Turns 5!!!
My baby is 5 years old...well, not officially until this Thursday, but we celebrated her 5th birthday this past Saturday. We had a great time with friends and family playing at a gymnastics gym and then eating yummy pink cupcakes. Addi had such a wonderful time seeing her cousins, dance class friends, church friends and even some friends from her old pre-school. We were thankful for everyone who was able to make it to the party to celebrate with us. Addi got some pretty clothes and some fun toys which she has been enjoying everyday since. It is hard for me to believe that she is already 5 years old! She is such a complete and total joy always making all of us laugh with her unique sayings, comments and personality traits! One thing is for sure....she is ALL GIRL! We love our Addi! It is fun to look back and see how she has grown from year to year! We look forward to many years to come with our little princess :)
